"When I first got instructions from my company to meet with a psychologist to ensure that I was able to recover from a particularly intense case of harassment that my family and I were subject to, I thought it was highly
unnecessary and, surely, it is something that I could deal with on my own.

 

My skepticism quickly changed to appreciation after the first session. Despite having found ways to deal with the situation, I was able to find Solace in the fact that I had done what I felt was best for me and my family. It really helped me continue to deal with the threat that lasted almost a year, which has left me and my family unscathed both physically and mentally.

 

After a few sessions that dealt exclusively with the harassment situation, I felt like it was no longer necessary to progress along that line of discussion. We then shifted into how I could work as a better leader and manager, and the remaining sessions were spent looking into how I think, analyze and make decisions. and begin addressing weaknesses that I never realized I had before. Overall, the sessions not only helped me recover, they also helped me improve my professional and personal life! The REACH program is a good added benefit because I don’t think many companies have it. I am glad I took advantage of the program.
